Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
Welcome to Signatura. These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of our website and the purchase of products from Signatura.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About Signatura
Signatura is a South African supplier of point-of-sale and business hardware, including POS printers, label printers, POS terminals, accessories, electronic signature pads and biometric devices.
2. Products
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images and pricing displayed on our website are accurate.
Product specifications may change from time to time as manufacturers update their products. Images are for illustrative purposes and the appearance of the supplied product or packaging may differ slightly from images displayed on the website.
Customers are responsible for confirming that a product is suitable and compatible with their intended hardware, software or application before ordering.
Please contact us before purchasing if you are uncertain about compatibility.
3. Pricing
All prices displayed on the website will indicate whether VAT is included or excluded, as applicable.
Prices may change without prior notice.
The price applicable to an order will be the price displayed and confirmed when the order is placed, subject to correction of obvious pricing or system errors.
For larger quantities, customers may contact Signatura directly to request bulk pricing.
4. Stock Availability
Products displayed on our website are subject to availability.
Some products may be supplied from our own stock while others may be sourced from local distributors or suppliers.
Stock availability can therefore change without notice.
If an ordered product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact the customer to discuss an alternative product, expected availability or a refund where applicable.
5. Orders
An order placed through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
An order is only accepted once payment has been successfully received and the order has been confirmed by Signatura.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there has been an obvious pricing error, stock discrepancy, suspected fraudulent transaction or other reasonable cause.
If payment has already been received for an order that we cannot fulfil, the applicable amount will be refunded.
6. Payment
Online orders must be paid using one of the payment methods made available during checkout.
Orders will only be processed for dispatch once payment has been successfully received or confirmed.
For approved quotations or business orders, alternative payment arrangements may be specified on the quotation or invoice.
7. Delivery
Signatura delivers products throughout South Africa using third-party courier services.
Delivery times provided are estimates and may be affected by product availability, courier delays, public holidays, remote delivery areas or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.
Our full delivery terms are available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
8. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable South African consumer legislation.
Products must be returned in accordance with the conditions and procedures set out in that policy.
Please contact Signatura before returning any product.
9. Product Compatibility
Many products sold by Signatura are designed to operate with specific operating systems, applications, drivers, interfaces or third-party software.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, the purchase of hardware does not include software development, integration, installation or configuration services.
It is the customer's responsibility to confirm that the selected product is compatible with their intended system or application before purchasing.
Signatura will provide available product information to assist customers in making an informed purchasing decision.
10. Software and Licences
Certain products may include or consist of software licences.
Software licences are subject to the licence terms of the applicable software manufacturer or publisher.
Once a software licence, activation key or similar digital product has been supplied, activated or registered, cancellation or return may be restricted except where required by applicable law or where the product is defective.
Customers are responsible for confirming software and hardware compatibility before purchasing.
11. Warranties
Products are covered by the applicable manufacturer, distributor or Signatura warranty stated on the relevant product page, quotation or invoice.
Warranty periods and procedures vary between products and manufacturers.
Warranty coverage generally does not include damage caused by misuse, physical damage, incorrect installation, electrical damage, unauthorised modification, normal wear and tear or use outside the manufacturer's specifications.
Proof of purchase may be required for warranty claims.
12. Third-Party Products and Software
Signatura supplies products manufactured by third parties including Wacom, HID, BIXOLON, PinnPOS and other manufacturers.
Product names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Signatura does not own, develop or control third-party software required to operate or integrate these products.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Signatura will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss resulting from the use, inability to use, incompatibility or incorrect installation of products purchased from us.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
14. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for general product and purchasing information.
You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially use website content, photographs, graphics or other material owned by Signatura without permission.

Personal information submitted through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data protection legislation.
Information required to process orders may be shared with service providers such as payment processors and courier companies where necessary to complete the transaction.
16. Changes to These Terms
Signatura may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The version published on our website at the time of an order will apply to that transaction, subject to applicable law.
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
